The role:
The position of Lead Coffee Technician is a predominantly field based, customer facing role with an additional requirement to be office based (Bristol) when required. You will join a team of experienced technical professionals, providing support to the Technical Manager to establish and maintain engineering systems business-wide. You will also provide technical solutions on a scheduled and adhoc basis to customers.
As the Lead Technician, you will oversee the daily coordination of the adhoc engineering needs of customers as well as organising the scheduled service calendar on a weekly/biweekly basis for the technical team. You will be expected to provide holiday cover for the Technical Manager to include; ordering machinery, scheduling installations and liasing directly with customers.
Other duties:
- Manage the daily inflow of all technical enquiries and triage from important to urgent
- Manage the internal database to maximse support through a proactive service schedule
- Deliver on targets set by the Technical Manager for first time fix rates and return rates
- Head up the development of the machinery customisation program; from sourcing suppliers to building customisation packages
- Facilitate the scheduling of all planned preventative maintenance as required
- Responsible for the training & development of new Technicians alongside the Technical Manager
The person:
In order to be considered for the position of Lead Coffee Technician, you must possess the following:
- Previous and extensive Coffee Field Service/technical experience
- Happy to work in a field based and office based environment
- Strong coffee knowledge
- Good computer literacy
- Strong communication skills
- Based in or close to Bristol
- A full UK driving license
