Job Overview
We're on the hunt for an energetic and experienced Lead Contract Manager to join us on this journey of transformation. In this role, you will take the helm of contract and commercial management for our digital, data, and technology domains. Key aspects of this role include:

What you will do
As a Lead Contract Manager, your responsibilities will extend beyond routine management. Key responsibilities will include:
- Leadership of the Contract Management Team, providing support to senior managers, partners, and stakeholders for digital, data, and technology contracts.
- Ensuring robust cost control by setting and monitoring contracts in line with budget compliance.
- Managing the portfolio of suppliers, leading contract and commercial management activities.
- Providing business case assurance and validation of digital, data and technology contracts and commercial initiatives.
- Drafting detailed reports appraising the status of contracts, and providing regular reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaising with BCC Directorates to manage contract change/variations and payments of suppliers in accordance with agreed schedules.
