SalaryWe are currently seeking a professional and experienced Lead Driver to join our team. As a Lead Driver, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our team of drivers to ensure safe and efficient transportation services. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of transportation regulations, and a proven track record in managing a team.
Responsibilities
- Organize and coordinate the daily dispatch of drivers, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries
- Train and mentor drivers, providing guidance on best practices and safety protocols
- Monitor driver performance, conducting regular evaluations and providing feedback for improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation and driver operations
- Investigate and resolve any customer complaints or issues related to transportation services
- Maintain accurate records of driver schedules, routes, and vehicle maintenance
