The role will require you to be onsite for initial training and then reduce 1 day a week.
What you'll be doing:
- Package and distribute software components to the Enterprise, ensuring smooth operations.
- Generate and document new application packages, tailored to meet specific requirements.
- Conduct software integration and compatibility testing in a Win 10 environment, guaranteeing flawless performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any glitches that arise, keeping systems running seamlessly.
- Engage with customers to manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, fostering strong relationships.
- Create and manage support records using cutting-edge Service Management Tools, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Report anomalies and escalate issues promptly to the CAPS Lead Packager, maintaining high standards of quality.
- Write, review, and maintain processes and procedures, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience with Application sequencing, App-V (v5) Packaging, and Troubleshooting, demonstrating your technical prowess.
- Proficiency in MSI Packaging and Troubleshooting, SCCM administration, and OS development, showcasing your versatility.
- Knowledge of packaging tools like Orca and Flexera Admin Studio, empowering you to tackle any challenge with ease.
- Scripting skills in VBS, Batch, and a working knowledge of PowerShell, proving your ability to automate tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with Applocker and Server 2012 R2 Group Policy experience (AGPM), highlighting your attention to detail and security expertise.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, a self-motivated attitude, and a customer-focused approach, making you a valuable asset to any team.
It would be great if you had:
- ITIL v3/v4 Foundation certification
