The role:
The Lead Maintenance Electrician will be joining a part of a larger team of multi skilled engineers working on static site in Chester on a Prestigious Industrial site carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on any general building maintenance, small installation projects, servicing and repairs.

Main Duties:
- Conducting regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment
- Performing preventative maintenance tasks on electrical systems and components
- Testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits, equipment, and machinery
- Repairing or replacing faulty electrical components such as switches, relays, motors, and wiring
- Installing new electrical systems or upgrading existing ones as needed
- Conducting safety checks to ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations
- Maintaining electrical documentation, including schematics and maintenance records
- Responding to electrical emergencies and outages to restore power quickly and safely
- Collaborating with other maintenance team members or departments for complex electrical repairs or upgrades
- Participating in training sessions to stay updated on electrical codes, regulations, and technologies
- Implementing energy-saving measures and recommending improvements to enhance electrical efficiency.
