After the appointment of a new CEO, a financial services business are undergoing a full tech modernisation in order to strip out old legacy systems and to reduce the need for 3rd party resources. As part of the roadmap, a new offering has opened for a Lead Full Stack Developer to come in and head up a small agile team of four application developers.
**Please note this role doesn't offer sponsorship and so full eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Working as a Lead Full Stack Developer in this team…
You'll report into the Software Development Manager and this role is hands on when it comes to coding so it’s a chance to leave your stamp on well architected greenfield solutions! Alongside this, you’ll line manage four other application developers. This is more from a technical guidance angle rather than 1-2-1’s , booking off holiday etc.
The team keep design principles, scalability and business value at the forefront of their work meaning you’ll be working on projects to be proud of that will really elevate your career.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Solid commercial experience in the backend technologies C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework.
- Skill in the frontend across JavaScript/ TypeScript, HTML, CSS and any framework such as Vue.js, Angular or React.
- Data technologies such as SQL Server
- Proven experience in leading / guiding a team of developers and managing web application projects.
- Ability to architect solutions and drive the adoption of good design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to ensure that proper development processes are being followed.

Interview process / Application process
- You must be eligible to work in the UK, sponsorship is not offered.
- 2 stage interview, 1 teams video call with the Head of Software Development over teams and if successful followed by another teams video call where you’ll meet even more of the team along the Head of Software Development again.
