About the team

Gloucestershire Pension Fund is part of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and is administered by Gloucestershire County Council. The Fund has c.200 participating employers and over c.60,000 active, deferred and pensioner members. Our aim is to provide an accurate and customer focused service to our members from joining the scheme to retirement and beyond.

 

 

About the role

We are looking to recruit a Lead Pension Officer who will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and effective service by ensuring all LGPS benefits are paid accurately and in accordance with the statutory and legislative requirements of the Local Government Pension Scheme. In particular, the role will focus on the calculation and payment of retirement benefits, the production of member estimates and quotes and the calculation and payment of all types of death benefits.
