Salary - £32,076 - £33,945

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team leading and supporting our people administration response with a strong focus on recruitment for our 40 academies across the East Midlands.

Your focus will be being the first point of contact within our team for recruitment and people related queries from across the Trust.

You will work closely with our academy principals and managers developing and maintaining positive relationships and rapport to get a better understanding of each region and their requirements. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of people administration, including ensuring safer recruitment checks are completed in compliance with Keeping Children safe in education, and leading the employee journey with our Trust.

Using our applicant tracker system, we are looking for someone to proactively manage the appropriate approvals to a timeline. Initially, you will lead the enhancement of our recruitment process, place adverts, administer and manage the development and maintenance of the system.

This is a hybrid working role, based in our office in Colwick, Nottingham and at home. You’ll be an integral part of the wider team, so being a strong team player as well as having the confidence to work independently use your own initiative is essential.

About You

  • It is key for you to be organised and manage others to meet deadlines and prioritise own work to meet the changing requirements within a high-volume seasonal recruitment environment.
  • You will need to demonstrate good customer service and a proactive approach to seeking out the information needed by candidates and managers to keep the recruitment process moving forward and reducing the time to hire.
  • You will be involved in recruiting teaching, teaching support, administrative and operational support roles across the Trust.
  • Experience of working in a high-volume environment in which you are the focal point in a broad recruitment function would be advantageous.
  • Is CIPD qualified or equivalent and has relevant experience of working within a people management environment.
