My Client based in Colchester are looking to recruit a Lead People Partner into their team on either an interim or permanent basis depending on availability to commence employment.
Purpose of the Role:
Reporting to the Director, People Partnering, the Lead People Partner is responsible for ensuring the contribution of People expertise to business decision making and develop innovative people solutions to support business plans and strategy. You will work as a strategic HR Business Partner supporting the Health Directorate, providing highly specialised and strategic workforce focused expertise and advice to ensure our people are capable, effective and healthy, and ultimately able to deliver great care. You will support organisational change to help implement the business strategy and foster a climate of positive employee relations.
Duties of the Role:
- To work as a strategic HR Business Partner to the Health Directorate, providing highly specialist and strategic workforce advice on complex workforce issues and proactive design and implementation of strategic People priorities.
- To line manage (appraisal, attendance & performance management) and provide leadership and development opportunities to People Partners, supporting them and providing learning/development opportunities as appropriate.
- To lead on highly complex and sensitive employee relations cases with all staffing groups across the Health Directorate.
- To be integral in supporting senior managers in developing long-term business strategy and workforce plans linking with other areas to ensure consistency and compatibility with organisation wide strategic plans.
Education/Qualifications & Experience:
- Evidence of post qualifying and continuing professional development
- Senior experience of HR in a fast paced organisation, with a demonstrable track record of achievement
- Experience of partnership working with trade unions
