The job
- Lead end-to-end product ownership, from identifying opportunities through market analysis to creating and testing new product ideas with customers.
- Define product requirements, develop business cases, and navigate through governance processes.
- Collaborate with BAU product and marketing teams to launch products effectively.
- Champion a culture of positivity, hard work, high performance, and customer obsession.
- Own the strategic and tactical product roadmap, ensuring alignment with transformation plans.
- Utilize research tools to gather insights and validate concepts with the target audience.
- Act as a subject matter expert within the transformation programme, identifying product requirements and ensuring strategic alignment.
The person specification
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience in product or change roles.
- Extensive experience in UK financial services and its regulated environment.
- Proficiency in agile methodology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to empathize with customers and champion their needs.
- Comfortable with complex products and pricing techniques.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and articulate change initiatives or business cases.
- Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
