SalaryWe are currently working in partnership with a Reputable Charity based in North London, who are recruiting for a Lead Worker on a temporary 2-month contract.
The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is £24.54 via an Umbrella company or the PAYE equivalent of £20.92 including holiday.
The ideal candidate will have worked with vulnerable clients previously and have an enhanced DBS from within the last 3 years.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Providing floating support to rough sleepers in North London, focusing on encouraging clients to get support for their substance misuse issues
Supporting clients to get into treatment plans for recovery
Checking in with service users daily to continue with recovery support and to complete recovery treatment plans
Responding to any homeless referrals being made across the borough
Working independently and being a lead figure to other Support Workers
Working hours:
37.5 hours per week
Monday – Friday (various shift patterns: 5am-2pm, 9am-5pm, 5pm-2am)
