If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a dedicated Learning and Development Coordinator to join our bustling team in Chirk.
As a Learning and Development Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to be the first person to welcome new employees to the business, providing them with a comprehensive induction to ensure compliance with Kronospan EH&S standards. You will also administer and control all training information on-site, ensuring a robust recording system is in place. Collaborating with EHS and management teams, you will develop, deliver, and evaluate an annual compliance training plan to meet mandatory standards. Working closely with the HR team, you will guide and educate line managers on available tools and resources for effective people management. Additionally, you will coordinate training sessions with external suppliers and departmental managers, oversee the site training plan and skills matrix, and support individuals on internally recognised development pathways. Finally, you are responsible for managing the site training budget to ensure the effective allocation of resources to meet site needs.
Learning and Development Coordinator Requirements:
* Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role
* Proficient in English, other languages would be advantageous
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office package
* Excellent attention to detail and a passion for driving improvements in training
* Must be able to meet tight deadlines
* Have experience of developing and delivering in-house training courses
* A degree-level qualification is desirable but not essential, experience will be key to this position.
