Oakleaf Partnership are partnering with a law firm on the hire of a Learning and Development Manager position. This role can be based in either of the following hubs. Birmingham. Oxford or Nottingham. Our client has multiple offices across the UK and has created this new position in the people function. The firm has circa 1,000 employees across the UK and this role would require some travel to other sites in the UK.

Role

As the Learning and Development Manager, you will lead, implement, and design all learning programmes across the firm. Ideally you would have worked in professional services and shaped the growth of an L&D function previously. You will work closely with the team and the learning providers to define training needs and the content of the firm’s core programmes. You will work alongside the HR Director to develop the Learning and Development strategy and ensure that all programmes have defined learning objectives. We are looking for someone who can enhance and redesign existing programmes and bring some innovative concepts to the business from a learning perspective.

What are we looking for

Our client are looking for L&D professionals within professional services and have proven history of working to design and implement successful development programmes and some delivery of programmes ( training ) The Learning and Development Manager will have worked at all levels within an organisation and be able to build credibility at senior level. You will need to have prior Learning and Development experience in profile and have the ability to demonstrate L&D projects that you have run.
