Job Title: Learning and Development Partner
Reports to: Head of Talent Development
Employment Type: Permanent, Full time
Based: Hybrid, Head office Burntwood
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum DOE
About the role
The Learning and Development Partner has an integral role in supporting the Head of Talent Development to define, create, develop, and implement a full learning, performance, talent and career agenda across all roles. Working closely with the Operations Teams to understand the needs of the business to source or create effective development opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Drive innovative insights and support for the full learning, talent, and performance agenda, including apprenticeships, statutory training, and professional development.
- Manage day-to-day execution of talent initiatives and programs, focusing on UK talent programs.
- Coordinate the performance review cycle, ensuring analysis, reporting, and support for managers addressing under-performance.
- Design and deliver effective onboarding and induction experiences for all levels.
- Develop talent programs aligned with apprenticeship pathways, creating career progressions from apprentice to Director level.
- Collaborate with Area Directors to identify talent and implement succession plans, including step-up programs.
- Provide guidance to the leadership team on talent review, succession planning, and organizational design.
- Work with operations teams to cultivate a talent pool of high-performers for future opportunities.
- Ensure the relevance and alignment of training content with business needs, sourcing or curating content as needed.
- Oversee compliance across teams, aligning with statutory and mandatory requirements.
- Continuously improve the talent development agenda, including systems, processes, and overall offerings.
- Ensure business compliance with policies and procedures, providing accessible information and necessary training for all employees.
Key skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a similar Learning or Talent Development role, within a fast-paced multi-site environment
- Degree educated with relevant post graduate qualifications – or studying towards L5/L7 or relevant experience
- Proven implementation and delivery of large-scale learning, talent and performance projects within previous roles
- Persuasive and articulate communicator
- Encourages new thinking and is creative and collaborative in developing solutions
