Based in wonderful premises steeped in history, the organisation undertakes research, develops policy, hosts events and puts together high-profile, worldwide partnerships.
You will be part of an energetic, highly effective HR team, reporting into the HR Director and with sole responsibility for L&D. The role will entail analysing training requirements and designing, facilitating, and evaluating learning and development activities and programmes. You will play a key role interacting with employees and third-party training providers to create an innovative, proactive learning culture and environment.
Your role will involve
- responsibility for the performance management life cycle, annual appraisal, and mid year development conversations.
- drawing learning needs from returned appraisals and feeding those into the annual learning plan
- liaising with and managing relationships with external training providers
- driving and leading mentoring and coaching programmes
- designing and delivering e-learning modules
- working with the senior management team on leadership development programmes
- managing and considering various corporate learning and engagement related programmes such as work experience, apprenticeships, secondments and mentoring.
You will need

- outstanding presentation skills and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders effectively.

- experience of delivering training in small groups
- a proven track record of success in designing, delivering and evaluating training courses and learning events
Previous L&D experience at a senior level within a fast-paced, evolving, progressive organisation is essential
