We are seeking a dedicated Learning Facilitator to join our team and provide exceptional help desk services within our learning centre. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting students and staff with technology and learning resources.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver help desk services, including support for students using college computers, their student accounts, software applications, mobile apps, online learning systems, and Wi-Fi.
- Provide frontline customer service, assisting with printer use and computer bookings.
- Contribute to the Group LRC team by delivering the online ‘AskLRC’ service, responding to student enquiries, including password resets and Microsoft 365 queries.
- Offer guidance on using LRC resources, both print and online, to students and staff.
- Maintain purposeful learning environments throughout the centres as part of the LRC team.
- Carry out frontline administrative tasks, such as checking overdues and contacting students via email and telephone.
- Collect usage statistics and assist with stock moves and withdrawals as required.
- Handle payments for print credit top-ups and LRC charges.
- Experience in a customer service or help desk role.
- Familiarity with computer systems, software applications, and online learning platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to perform administrative tasks.
- Experience in handling payments and managing financial transactions is desirable.
- Competitive hourly rate of £14.83.
