We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work in a Primary school in the Derbyshire area on a part time basis. TeacherActive are working with multiple primary schools in that area who are needing staff to start from May and September. The working hours would be 8.30 – 3.30 5 days a week, ongoing until the end of the school year with possibility to carry on in September when the schools are back open.
The successful applicants will need to have experience in KS1 / key stage 1 or KS2 / key stage 2. You will need to be reliable, dedicated and have a love for your role. You will be supporting the teacher in the classroom, helping with the children’s learning and activities. You will have great communication and have a caring, yet firm approach to the pupils.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:
- Relevant qualifications is desirable
- Experience working in KS1 or KS2
- Reliable and can adapt easily to different needs of children
- Fun personality
