Empowering Learning are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to begin work as soon as possible. The school is a mainstream primary school and the role would be based across KS1 and KS2
The hours of work are 8:30-3:30 and the role is Monday to Friday.
The main duties within the role are:
Building relationships with pupils who are unable to access mainstream educationProviding academic support to children working below age expected levels Liaising with senior management around progress of the children Providing pastoral support to the children in the setting Calming down situations where challenging behaviour may ariseThe school are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience working with SEN pupils Is available to begin work immediately Can build strong relationships with the children Is a great communicator Has a good sense of humour!
