Key Responsibilities:
- Student Support: Provide individualized or small-group support to students, assisting with learning activities and reinforcing educational objectives.
- Inclusive Practices: Work collaboratively with teaching staff to implement strategies that promote inclusivity and accommodate diverse learning needs.
- Behavioral Support: Assist in managing and addressing behavioral challenges, promoting a positive and respectful learning environment.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to student support.
- Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of student progress, noting achievements and areas requiring additional support.
- Adaptability: Be flexible and responsive to the changing needs of students, adjusting support strategies as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working as a Learning Support Assistant in the UK education system.
- Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Understanding of inclusive practices and a commitment to promoting diversity in the classroom.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational development of students.
