Overview

Learning Support Assistant for Early Years (children are at nursery / Early Years 36-60 month level) and Key Stage 1 (children are at reception / lower KS1 level)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join the supportive and dedicated team at our primary special school for children experiencing difficulties with Communication and Interaction (within the Moderate Learning difficulty range). You will assist children in reaching their goals in a school that nurtures the progress of every individual.

Term time only

Salary Type: Bucks pay

Salary details: Bucks Pay Range 2: £22,584 - £23,961 pro-rata (Actual Salary: £17,349 - £18,780) Pending pay award from 01/04/2024: £25,584 - £26,961 pro-rata (Actual Salary: £19,653 - £21,132) Plus welcome payment on successful completion of 6 month probationary period

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 39 weeks (term time only plus INSET days) 33.5 hours per week (Monday 08:30-16:30, Tuesday-Friday 08:30-15:30)

We are a coeducational primary special school for children who learn within the National Curriculum expectations at a MLd needs relevant level, and who experience difficulties arising from communication and interaction. The vast majority of our pupils also have a diagnosis of ASd. The school’s expansion allows us to build on our success.
