SalaryWe are looking for a very experienced, resilient and skilled 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a child in Year 4 who is finding it difficult to regulate his emotions and gets very jealous when he does not get adult attention (or believes he is not able to complete the work tasks that are presented to him). The child will regularly get up and go wandering round the school...but has strategies that work (when he uses them). He needs lots of recognition, praise and reassurance.
Ideal Candidates will have
- Experience supporting children with special needs and behaviour difficulties.
- Able to engage well and keep children on task with their work.
- Able to start as soon as possible.
- Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to have a new one processed.
