Pennyhill Primary School is a large primary school with amazing children, families and staff in West Bromwich. We are passionate about providing high quality and varied learning that inspires, raises aspirations, and enriches lives, enabling all children to achieve their full potential.
We are now looking to appoint two excellent Learning Support Assistants to join our hardworking team. You must have the experience and expertise to enhance the learning of different groups of pupils and a desire to work with individuals who have complex needs.
This post is currently offered on fixed term contract until August 2025, in the first instance. This is a full time position 31.5 hours (term time plus 5 days)
You will need to:
· Be self-motivated and dedicated to supporting both groups and individual children.
· Be calm, patient, caring and nurturing
· Enjoy working with children who have additional needs, praising small steps progress
· Work well with other adults
· Have a desire to work in a school that is committed to school improvement and providing high quality teaching and learning.

Hours:
31.5 hours per week, term time plus 5 days, fixed term until 22 July 2025
Salary:
Band B, SCP 3-4 £22,737-£23,114 pro rata (£11.79-£11.98 per hour) (actual £16,900-£17,180 per annum) plus a Living Wage supplement to £12.00 per hour, payable from 1 April 2024
