Bristol Brunel Academy is a forward-thinking Academy based in Speedwell, Bristol, rated “Good” by Ofsted in 2023. We are consistently over-subscribed in every year group and have been expanding numbers on roll each year making it one of the largest secondary schools in the city. The students are excited to learn and are real ambassadors for our diverse community.
What we are looking for:
As a Learning Support Lead, you will provide support to students with special educational needs and disabilities by:
• Supporting and liaising with the SENCO
• Advising and supporting other members of staff; teachers, TAs and HLTAs
• Having oversight of the school’s provision for students with SEND
• Ensuring the individual needs of designated students and the requirements of any statements are fully met
• Working with external agencies
