Job Advert: Learning Support Worker

Location: Batley, West Yorkshire

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Salary: £80 - £110 per day

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students and contributing to their educational journey? We are currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support Worker to join my secondary school based in Batley.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
• Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of the teaching staff.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to address students' specific needs.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Learning Support Worker or similar role is preferred.
• A genuine interest in supporting the educational development of students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to various learning styles and needs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
• Additional qualifications in education or special education are advantageous.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30am - 3:30pm

Salary:

• £80 - £110 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
