Here at Bedford College, we are currently recruiting for a Lecturer (Teacher) of Business and Finance subjects teaching our further education students aged 16-19. Lecturers at Bedford College, play a pivotal role in the success of our students through: Preparation, delivery and assessment of Business and Finance students Support and guidance for students, helping them to achieve success and realise their potential. Management of students’ learning and providing a high-quality learning experience Ideal candidates will have experience of teaching business and finance subjects to students aged 16-19 in a further education setting, coupled with relevant business or finance sector industry knowledge, alongside the following qualifications: Recognised Teacher Qualification (PGCE, CertEd, QTS) Relevant Business Qualification or Degree Successful candidates must also be able to demonstrate alignment to our organisational VISION values: Valuing Teamwork - We are one team who by working together can achieve great things, respecting the opinion and valuing the contribution each of us makes. About Bedford College Bedford College has a number of sites across the town and surrounding areas, these include our main Cauldwell Street campus in the heart of the town, our hair and beauty salon on the High Street, the advanced automotive centre on Brunel Road and the gas and technology plumbing centre in Kempston. About The Bedford College Group The Bedford College Group was formed in 2017 following the merger of Bedford College and Tresham College and is now the largest provider of education in the South East Midlands, with over 15,000 students passing through our doors each year.
