About the Role:
Working within our friendly, motivated team of nurses and midwives you will very quickly become an integral member of the team delivering high quality teaching and facilitating skills sessions across our wide range of nursing and midwifery courses. You will provide both theoretical and pastoral support to a group of students and will gain support yourself from an assigned mentor and regular meetings with them and your line manager. No two days are the same, and will make the most of your clinical experience every day. You will be given responsibility commensurate with your ability and will be treated as the professional that you are.
As part of this exciting project, we are now seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer. As well as a degree, you will be a registered nurse and will have successful teaching experience at HE level and/or professional experience. You'll have excellent communcation skills, will have an enthusiastic and flexible approach, and will have the ability to think innovatively.
We are seeking either a full time post or fractional posts and are very happy to pursue secondments with our practice partners. This is a fixed term contract for 1 year to cover maternity leave of the post holder.
