We are looking for a Legal Cashier for one of our legal client's on a full-time permanent basis, in the office.
The ideal candidate will have experience with legal accounting software, and have an understanding of basic banking processes and a thorough understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules and Regulations.
Responsibilities
• Maintaining Client Ledgers: Recording Client Receipts, Paying Office invoices and disbursements
• Processing of all client Account payments via: CHAPS, Faster and International Payments
• Processing of client invoices and posting to the ledger.
• Maintain accurate records of all client, office ledger transactions.
• Action all client-to-client transfers, write-off requests, bank to bank transfers, posting disbursements to the ledger.
• Banking: Banking cash and cheques received, using the Online banking facility for making payments.
• Raising office and client account cheques, getting them signed and distribute back to each fee earner.
• Action any Credit Card payments.
• Completion statements.
• Ordering of stationery supplies, reception cover, archiving, maintenance of deeds register.
• Miscellaneous: Undertaking any other reasonable duties as required which may be allocated by the Partners.
