A leading firm in the Liverpool area are seeking to recruit a Legal Cashier to join their team. This well-established firm offer a modern approach alongside a vibrant culture and cover all major areas of law. They are highly focused on achieving great results for their clients and you will be joining a dynamic team who pride themselves on high levels of staff retention.
The successful Legal Cashier will be part of a busy accounts department and will report into the Accounts Manager. Ensuring full compliance with the SRA Accounts Rules, your main job role will consist of but not be limited to the following:
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Office & client cheque requests & banking
- Processing purchase ledger invoices
- Processing petty cash and credit card payments
- Reconciling accounts & assisting with month end procedures
- Processing and reconciling legal aid agency BACS payments including monthly payments
- Dealing with queries and other accounts duties where needed
This is a great opportunity to work for a leading firm with a great working culture. On offer is a competitive salary relative to experience and this is a full-time position working in the office, however hybrid working maybe supported after successful probation period.
