We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions within a legal environment.
Responsibilities:
- Processing client and office account transactions
- Handling electronic payments and receipts
- Reconciling bank statements
- Managing petty cash transactions
- Assisting with month-end procedures
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Liaising with fee earners and clients regarding financial queries
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Legal Cashier or in a similar finance role
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with legal accounting practices is advantageous but not essential
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
