SalaryEventus Recruitment are seeking a Legal Cashier to work across a growing group looking after a number of Law firms. This is a full-time, temp to permanent job role based in Stoke-on-Trent. They are offering hybrid working, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, paycare scheme and professional development opportunities.
Role Responsibilities
You will be an experienced Legal Cashier with at least 1 years’ experience. Your main duties will include:
- Daily banking and reconciliations
- BACS and CHAPS payments
- Handling fee earner queries
- Process internal account transfers
- Process sales and purchase invoices
- Check completion statements
- Credit control
- Some reporting
- Compliance with SAR and anti-money laundering is imperative at all times
Person Specification
The successful Legal Cashier will be a great communicator, conscientious and well organised. You will also possess the following skills:
- Good Excel knowledge
- Working knowledge of the accounting principles, Solicitors Accounts Rules would be beneficial.
- Experience of Proclaim is advantageous but not necessary.
- Reconciliation experience and good computer skills are essential.
- Attention to detail is essential.
