Responsibilities for the Legal Cashier:

• Process payments for legal services, disbursements, and expenses accurately and efficiently.
• Reconcile bank statements and client accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Handle petty cash transactions and maintain appropriate records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial procedures, including preparing reports and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with legal teams and administrative staff to resolve any financial discrepancies or issues.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in legal accounting regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and guidelines.

Qualifications for the Legal Cashier

• Previous experience as a Legal Cashier or in a similar finance role within the legal sector is ideal.
• Solid understanding of legal accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field are preferred.
