Client Details
A well establish firm of solicitors based in central Worthing are seeking a full time permanent Legal Cashier.
Description
As Legal Cashier, you will be responsible for:
- Checking completion statements arithmetically and for completeness
- Advising fee earners when funds received
- Setting up online payments via our bank
- Internal transfers between clients as requested.
- Checking and posting of bills
- Cost transfers once bills paid/matters completed.
- Dealing with general ad-hoc queries from fee earners
- Taking debit/credit card payments from clients and posting them
- Filing all paperwork relating to conveyancing transactions
- Investigating and advising fee earners regarding balances left on ledgers.
Profile
- Basics of Bookkeeping
- Previous experience in a law firm.
- Communication Skills
- Eye for detail
- Accountancy qualification would be desirable
- Professional telephone Manner and great customer service
- Excellent communication skills
