SalaryThe role is full-time office based in a central office space, and is suited to someone with existing experience in a similar position.
Training will be provided on all systems, however knowledge of Leap and/or Xero is desired
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the firm
- Process client and office account transactions, including receipts, payments, and transfers
- Reconcile bank statements and client ledgers
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Handle client billing and invoicing
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes
- Ensure compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules
- Proven experience in a Legal Cashier role
- Strong understanding of legal accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in managing client and office accounts
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of LEAP and/or Xero accounting software
