My client has one of the fiercest, most well-respected corporate teams outside of London. Its reputation is second to none.
It is currently seeking a standout Senior Corporate Associate/Legal Director to join its thriving practice in Manchester. (This could suit a Senior Associate, frustrated, who feels that they are ready for the jump to Legal Director and then partner with a clearly laid out path.)
My client has a well-known training programme which you would be able to enter that gives a clear path to partner over circa three years - one which will allow you to and encourage you to build your own practice/business case. This role is definitely going to suit someone with an ambitious, self-starter type attitude and this is an environment where business development is encouraged as well as of course your desire to do the work.
In terms of experience, we would ideally want someone from a leading national or international law firm and is open minded about their core strengths, but certainly strong (large) and varied corporate transactional work experience, including M & A work is a must.
