SalaryA leading international law firm located in the city are currently seeking an experienced Legal PA for their Corporate team on a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC). The successful candidate will offer support to Partners and other fee earners within the department, and is an integral role in contributing to the overall success of the team.
Conveniently situated in the heart of the city, just a short walk from major train stations, this is the ideal opportunity for an experienced Legal PA looking for a contract position with a varied role in a successful and busy team.
Key responsibilities as a Legal PA:
- Travel arrangements – booking taxis, accommodation, visa applications, creating itineraries and arranging currency
- Inbox management and actioning any emails as necessary
- Pro-active diary management
- Organising meetings – booking meeting rooms, preparing agendas, presentations, organising refreshments, and ensuring rooms are set up correctly
- Arrangements for client events
- Drafting and formatting legal documents
- Supporting with business development
- Ensuring the client database is kept up to date and accurate
- Processing expenses
- File opening and conflict checks
- End to end billing
Key skills & Experience:
- Legal PA / Legal Secretary experience within a city law firm is essential
- Strong IT skills – Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Highly organised with the ability to remain calm under pressure and work to deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to liaise with clients and fee earners professionally at all levels
