Time Appointments are delighted to be working with a market-leading Solicitors who are looking to recruit a Legal Secretary for their Wills and Probate department based in Norwich. Key Responsibilities:
· Preparing and co-ordinating text production through dictation, audio-typing, word processing, photocopying, etc.
· Assisting clients on the telephone and in person in respect of the handling of their matter.
· Communicating legal advice to clients only on the clear instructions of their immediate supervisor.
· Maintaining their immediate supervisor's diary and monitoring appointments and key dates.
· Maintaining all files of their immediate supervisor in accordance with the standards set out
· Ensure that all correspondence and documentation are properly filed.
· Carrying out all administrative tasks as instructed and ensure that the clients matter proceeds smoothly and efficiently.
Skills & Experience:
· Experience as a Legal Secretary and working in a private client department
· Knowledge of wills and probate
· Excellent communication skills
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
· IT competent
· Audio typing skills are desirable
