We are working with a leading law firm who have around 60 fee earners operating in London and Brighton, they are actively seeking a confident and organised Legal Secretary to join and support their beautifully located office in the city of Brighton.
The Legal Secretary will be required to provide professional secretarial and administrative support to fee earners working in their disputes/litigation teams.
The role will focus on (not limited to):
- Transcribes from handwritten materials and/or dictation
- Maintain filing and records management systems.
- Preparing legal documents
- Provide administrative support to Partners and Fee Earners to whom assigned.
- General admin tasks i.e. paper and electronic filing, scanning and amending documents Other related duties and projects as required.
Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years legal secretarial experience in order to gain an understanding of law office policies and procedures. Ability to transcribe legal documents, correspondence and reports from rough draft or dictation Highly organised and able to work under pressure.
