THE ROLE: LEGAL SECRETARYDEPT: FAMILY LAW LOCATION: BERKHAMSTEAD JOB REF: L4L1025LEGAL SECRETARY- FAMILY LAW DEPT A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Legal Secretary to join our client's Family Law Dept based in their Berkhamstead Office. Previous experience within Family Law would be an advantage, however our clients will also train someone who has secretarial skills outside of the legal profession. The key aspects of this role is to support one of their fee earners within the Family/Matrimonial Dept ., where you will be typing up letters and legal documents and legal forms by using digital audio dictation. There will also be some general administration in support of managing client files and lots of telephone liaison. Accuracy of work is more important than speed of typing in this instance and a willingness to learn this practice area of law. This role would suit someone who has always wanted to be trained up in Family Law as a Legal Secretary or someone who already has some experience as a Legal Secretary and who is looking to transfer their skills in this practice area. Start date: February 2024Holidays: Standard plus bank holidays + extra daysHours: 9-5.30pmParking Close By They are situated within walking distance of Train Station.Salary: circa £22-26,000 dep on exp + good benefitsOur clients will also consider a law graduate who would like to be trained up as a Legal Secretary / support to the dept.
