Location: Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire

Salary: £17k - £22k + Excellent Benefits

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, Monday - Friday

The Client:

Our client is a growing Solicitors firm specialising in Criminal Defence and Family / Children Law known for providing high-quality client service.

The Role:

As a Legal Secretary in the Criminal Department, you will be managing tasks independently and supporting the Crime Team in delivering excellent criminal defence services.

Duties:

-Performing audio typing, managing diaries, and utilising Microsoft Office
-CCDCS document upload, Legal Aid E-Portal document upload.
-Scanning, photocopying, client / barrister / expert communication.
-Consideration of applications with legal secretarial experience in other areas.

Requirements:

-Possess Legal Secretary experience, preferably in a Criminal Department.
-Familiarity with Crown Court Digital Case System and Legal Aid E-Portal.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
