SalaryOur client, one of East Kent’s largest and oldest legal practices, is seeking a full-time Commercial PropertyLegal Secretary for their office in Canterbury.
You will assist solicitors in dealing with all aspects of Commercial Property, such as Land Registry applications and SDLT returns.
The ideal candidate will have strong secretarial skills and basic knowledge of the conveyancing process. Somebody who is currently a Commercial Property secretary, or an experienced residential property secretary who is interested in Commercial Property, could be particularly well suited to the role.
The successful candidate will be a natural problem solver and not afraid to take the initiative when they identify that an issue needs to be resolved. You’ll need to be confident and professional on the telephone and we will also expect you to be engaging and personable when greeting our clients in person.
Our team is friendly and committed. One-to-one training will be provided, and progression is likely for the right candidate.
The position is full time and permanent. Your hours will be 9.00am to 5.00pm with 25 days’ holiday per annum.
