Legal Secretary / Legal PA - Employment Law Experience Required - City of London / Hybrid - £43k + great benefits
We are looking for a highly organised, professional and proactive Legal Secretary / Legal PA, with experience in Employment Law, to join a successful law firm, based in the City on a hybrid working basis.
Joining a market-leading organisation, the Legal Secretary / Legal PA will provide first-class support to allocated partners and associates within the Employment, Immigration and Reward practice team. This is one of the leading law practices in the UK and our client has more recognised experts in Employment Law than any other UK firm. The team offers an unrivalled service supporting clients on their HR, employment and immigration law needs in the UK and internationally.
Providing first class support, you will act as their ‘ambassador’ for the firm, being the first point of contact for clients and colleagues.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong legal administrative capabilities as you will produce legal documentation and correspondence, maintain diaries and assist with marketing activities.

Key responsibilities as the Legal Secretary / Legal PA will include:
* First point of contact for clients, dealing with any queries or issues and maintaining confidentiality at all times
* Coordinating billing/credit control and accounting matters, including drafting bill requests, bill narratives and chasing clients for payment of unpaid bills
* General administration including managing inboxes, maintaining partners’ and associates’ diaries and coordinating internal and external meetings
* Assisting with marketing activities including liaising with the Marketing team and assisting with the preparation of seminars and other events
* Producing legal documentation and correspondence
* Building knowledge of files and matters to be able to support partners and associates in assisting clients

What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience in a similar Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant or Legal PA role (2 years+) within an established law practice
* Knowledge and experience of Employment Law
* Experience of supporting multiple fee-earners in a busy department
* Fast, accurate typing and accurate numeracy skills
* Highly organised nature with excellent attention to detail
* Strong IT skills including MS Office applications and Document Management Systems
* Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels professionally, confidentially and tactfully
* Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
* Proactive, professional and personable team player
