TSR Legal have a brand-new opportunity for a Legal Secretary to join an award-winning, Legal 500 ranked, full-service law firm. The firm is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a dedicated Legal Secretary to become an integral part of the Private Wealth & Inheritance Department. This full-time role is based in Farnborough, where you will find a supportive and encouraging environment, ideal for career progression.
The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including being the first point of contact for new client enquiries, managing diaries, administering files, witnessing Will signings, and handling secretarial tasks with confidence. Additionally, the role involves billing and accounts administration, as well as contributing to business development efforts.
Candidates should possess excellent administrative abilities, be highly organised, and demonstrate a proactive approach. IT literacy is essential, as is a willingness to learn and adapt to system developments. A solid understanding of compliance, particularly anti-money laundering requirements, is expected. Exceptional client service skills and strong communication abilities are paramount.
While previous experience in Private Wealth & Inheritance is desirable, legal secretarial experience in other areas of law will also be considered. Good commercial awareness is key, understanding the importance of efficiency, quality, and compliance in delivering outstanding service and maximising profitability.
