Legionella Risk Assessor - Scotland - Edinburgh
Salary: £31,066 - £34,279 (DOE)
Carbon60 are looking for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor focusing on the water industry to join a Large Facilities Management company based at their site in Edinburgh.

Permanent - Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
Ability to obtain a BPSS - Basic - pre-employment.

Role:
- You'll be responsible for carrying out Legionella Risk assessments manually and electronically, ensure that risk assessment paperwork and reports are completed correctly and returned.
- Also, to carry out any other operational work from time to time, so to ensure contractual commitments are met.
- You will also Undertake Legionella Risk assessments in accordance with:
- Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L8 (Fourth edition
- Technical guidance documents of HSG274
- British standard code of practice for Risk assessing BS8580-1 2019
- Health Technical Memorandum 04-01: Safe Water in Healthcare Premises
Required:
- The ideal candidate will need a qualification in a City and Guilds Risk Assessing course (or equivalent) and experience in Legionella risk assessing.
- A wide knowledge of the above risk assessment guidelines as well as sufficient experience in working in the water treatment industry and a strong knowledge of health and safety.
- You'll be commercially aware and have good planning skills, have strong IT literacy, the ability to use a PDA to evidence compliance and productivity and be able draw schematic diagrams.
- You'll need to have a full UK drivers' licence with less than 6 points and be able to work as a part of a team and under your own supervision.
