Do you have experience with legionella water filtration analysis? Are you comfortable working in compliance with ISO 17025 / UKAS standards? We are currently offering opportunity for a scientist to join a microbiology laboratory in the East Midlands.
The Role
As a scientist within the microbiology testing team, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting water filtration analysis to provide validation assistance,
- Adhering to ISO 17025 / UKAS guidelines,
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety protocols,
- Accurate maintenance of lab records & results.
Skills and Experience Needed
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Prior experience performing legionella water filtration analysis (essential)
- Demonstrated ability to work aseptically and maintain a sterile environment (essential)
- Existing UK work eligibility (essential)
- Previously worked in ISO 17025 / UKAS-accredited lab (desirable)
- Prior experience performing water filtration analysis for bacterial species including: (e.g., E. coli, coliforms, pseudomonas, enterococci) (desirable)
