Role: Letting Negotiator.
Location: Headingley.
Salary: £21,000 - £25,000 (experience dependant) +bonus.
Hours: Monday - Friday / 9am-5.30pm (+ occasional weekends – flexibility required).
Job Type: Full time, Permanent.
Driving License: Required (company car pool available within office hours).
Additional Requirements: 2+ years Customer Service experience (ideally within property) or previous Letting Agent experience.

Interaction Recruitment are working with a multi-award-winning, forward-thinking landlord, developer, and property management company based in Leeds looking to welcome an enthusiastic, hard-working new Lettings Negotiator to their fast-paced Headingley hub. This will be an incredibly varied role, keeping things fresh and exciting for the successful candidate in the long term. Individuals with previous industry experience would be fantastic for this role, however this is not essential! If you have a strong customer service background and a passion for property, this is a great opportunity for you to transition into the industry and receive the support you need.
Letting Negotiator Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the Lettings Manager, booking viewings, requesting payments, and issuing applications within a busy letting team.
- Responding to property enquiries in a timely and efficient manner, guiding prospective tenants though the letting process with confidence and clarity.
- Build rapport and relationships with prospective tenants to foster close connections and support business retention.
- Maintaining website portals, making amendments, and producing online adverts.
- Pro-actively manage your own and team diaries, booking appointments, inventories etc.
- Maximising conversion of enquiries and viewings into confirmed tenancy agreements.
- Negotiation of tenancy terms in line with company policy and procedures.
- Compiling paperwork, producing detailed and accurate tenancy agreements, and rent breakdowns.
- Completing detailed inspection reports and property inventories as required.
- Reporting and identifying property maintenance issues to relevant departments.

- Educated to GCSE level.

- Previous Customer Service Experience.
- Past exposure to the lettings sector would be beneficial although not essential.
- Good IT skills – competent working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook with the ability to work on bespoke packages.
