Our client is an established independent agency in Northampton and they are looking for a Lettings Negotiator/Administrator to join their team.
As a Lettings Negotiator/Administrator you would be responsible for the following:
- Qualify and respond to all email leads in a timely fashion, ideally within 4 hours.
- Register applicants accurately
- Book viewings accurately
- Explain to tenants that the agency will inform and change utilities providers on their behalf. Offer the services of broadband and media and explain the benefit
- Carry out viewings, follow up and give feedback to Landlords on a daily basis
- Manage applicants.
- Negotiate lets between Landlords and Tenants.
- Follow the procedure regarding referencing and right to rent checks.
- Liaise with Property Managers to ensure the property is ready and compliant before confirming a move in date.
- Property lists and keeping the window up to date with current available stock photos.
- Referencing applicants with an outsourced company and liaising with tenants for move in dates. Preparing move in files.
- Complete progress report.
- Adding on new tenants that need referencing.
- Pass on messages to the other team members by e mail when they are absent from the office on appointments
- Support to office Manager.
- General office admin
Experience:
- Must hold a full, clean driving licence
- Excellent customer service experience
- Knowledge of all Microsoft office suite
- Be able to work on own initiative and within a team
- Excellent time management
- Good written and verbal communication
- Have at least 5 GCSE of good grades to include Maths & English
- Letting/Property Management Experience would be an advantage, but full training will be given.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 5.30pm (1 hour unpaid lunch break)
1 in 3 Saturdays - 9am to 4pm (30 mins unpaid lunch break
Salary:
Basic Salary of £20,000 rising to £21,000 on completion of probation and then £22,000 on completion of the Level 3 Propertymark qualification in Residential Lettings and Property Management with OTE £24,500 pa

20 days plus Bank Holidays
