BMW UK, Financial Services, Farnborough – Level 6 Sales Support – 4 Year Apprenticeship (August 2024)
Our Summit ONE campus in Farnborough is home to the National Sales Company for the BMW Group in the UK, as well as BMW Group Financial Services which offers retailers, corporate and private customers a range of customised financial services. Alphabet (GB) Ltd. as a leading provider of Business Mobility Services is also located in Farnborough.

Within the Sales Support team, our roles involve adapting quotations for new and retained business, including rate profiling and commission adaptation to meet the requirements of the proposal whilst maintaining BMW FS profitability and targets.
The team also provide appropriate support to the business lines regarding communication of new and existing processes, including tactical sales campaigns, to maximise opportunities and drive first call resolution. To provide administrative support for the Underwriting department including distribution and management of additional information provided by our Retailers and Partners in a timely manner.
What will you be doing?
•Calculate and offer support and guidance on new business quotations
•Challenge, validate and obtain authorisation for requests outside of own authorisation for rates, commissions and residual values
•Resolve queries and optimise new business opportunities
•Provide concise and detailed advice to retailer/partner on tactical campaigns to avoid significant financial risk for all parties
•Provide advice to Retailers/Partners on status of proposals in Underwriting
•Validate customer proofs for authenticity. Investigate all data disputes and address checks
•Adhere to set specific administrative objectives to ensure all tasks are completed within agreed Service Level Agreement.
•Complete various administrative duties to include the reloading of erroneous agreements and Department procedure documentation
•Provide appropriate and flexible support during weekends, bank holidays and busy periods as required to ensure a consistent service is provided
Alongside your practical experience you will study at Witney and Abingdon College towards the attainment a BA (Hons) in Management and Business.
