Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey with a thriving local business? We're seeking a dedicated Sales Support Administrator to play a pivotal role in our continued success. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you'll be at the forefront of administration and merchandising, ensuring seamless operations and maximising customer satisfaction every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficient Sales and Purchase Order Processing: Utilise the web-based systems to provide impeccable administrative support for all sales orders, from initiation to delivery and invoicing. Assist in placing purchase orders with factories and ensure smooth correspondence regarding customer requirements and deliveries.
- Exceptional Customer Service: Provide unwavering support to customers via email or phone, addressing inquiries about orders, deliveries, product information, and more. Handle faulty products, credit notes, and sample requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate data on the company's Master system for all brands, ensuring consistency and reliability.
- Reporting and Sales Support: Prepare various reports to facilitate business operations and assist with sales document preparation for meetings with wholesale customers.
- General Office Tasks: Handle day-to-day office duties, including telephone inquiries, sample unpacking, courier shipments, and stationery orders.
- Team Support: Provide support and cover for other team members as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Key Attributes:
- Strong Administration and IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel, is essential for this role.
- Effective Communication: Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Organisational Skills: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in all tasks.
- Adaptability and Work Ethic: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and hands-on approach.
- Numeric Skills: Comfortable working with numbers and handling numeric data accurately.
- Sales Experience (Desirable): Previous experience in Sales Support would be beneficial, although not essential for this role.
