Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Primary Care Network (PCN) Manager to lead and oversee the operations of our primary care network located in Lewisham, London. The PCN Manager will play a critical role in facilitating collaboration among primary care providers, improving patient care outcomes, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance healthcare services within the community.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the PCN, working collaboratively with member practices and stakeholders to develop and implement initiatives that align with the network's objectives and priorities.
2. Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the PCN, including administrative functions, budget management, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
3. Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate positive relationships with member practices, healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration and support the delivery of integrated care services.
4. Quality Improvement: Drive quality improvement initiatives within the PCN, monitoring performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance the quality and safety of patient care.
5. Contract Management: Manage contracts and agreements with external service providers, vendors, and partners, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
6. Data Management and Reporting: Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to track key performance indicators, evaluate outcomes, and support evidence-based decision-making.
7. Staff Leadership and Development: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to PCN staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
8. Policy and Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant legislation, policies, and guidelines impacting primary care services, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.
9. Community Engagement: Engage with the local community to understand healthcare needs, promote health education and prevention initiatives, and advocate for equitable access to healthcare services.
Requirements:
1. Experience: Previous experience in healthcare management, preferably within a primary care setting or healthcare organization, with a proven track record of leadership and operational excellence.
2. Knowledge: Understanding of primary care networks, healthcare policies, NHS structures, and regulatory frameworks relevant to primary care services in the UK.
3. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
