DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV Class 2 (LGV Cat C) to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- Work pattern - Monday to Friday - 06:30 starts
- Delivering palletised tiles to retail and trade customers - between 8-14 deliveries per day in the Midlands area
- Will re-load at the end of the shift using a counterbalance forklift truck - training can be provided
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- You will hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum of 12 months commercial 'on the road' LGV Cat C experience
- Using an electric pump truck to unload pallets of tiles
- Have used a counterbalance forklift truck, or be prepared to be trained to use one for re-loading at then end of each shift
- Live locally to Birmingham B37 7HB
